FUZE x Richard Haward

Last year, FUZE were thrilled to be appointed to work with the incredible Richard Haward’s Oysters. We were asked to deliver a rebrand for the historic company which included crafting a stronger brand identity and revamping the existing logo and brand guidelines.

Richard Haward’s Oysters is a company with a rich, fascinating history and has supplied some of the finest oysters in the world since the 1700s.  

Since the 1700s, the Haward family have been cultivating their delicious oysters in and around the creeks of Mersea Island. Our team truly understood the importance of reflecting the heritage, and the incredible, high-quality service that they provide, within the design. Our main priority was to help convey the story of the Haward family and their world-renowned business. To achieve this, we worked closely with the team at Richard Haward’s Oysters, maintaining effective communication with the client throughout.   

Tom Haward, the owner of Richard Haward's Oysters, was extremely pleased with the work that FUZE produced. He explains, "FUZE managed to apply that very special skill of understanding our company's history and evoking it through the branding, whilst modernising our image so that people were engaged with our future story. Their customer relation skills are also impressive. It was great working with the team."

Since our rebranding, Richard Haward’s Oysters has continued to go from strength to strength. They were even featured on Gordon Ramsay’s latest BBC one show, Future Food Stars. Appearing on prime time television is an exciting development as it will hopefully gain more exposure for such a deserving company with an incredible history. We hope that with their new branding we can help them stand out even more.
